Recent Harris polls have belief in astrology at about 30%. Higher for women than men. So most of the US gets by without it.
If there was evidence that proves astrology, it would not require belief.

I am doing reading everyday ; and you would be surprise that none of my client ever said ; Oh astrology is bull crap ;; JUST the opposite they want to KNOW Note I have some police ; doctors ; business man ; lawyers ; politician ; undertaker ; and about the percentage : I would say 80 / 85 percent believe in astrology ; but they do not tell anybody in fear of ridicule

Sagittarius seem to be the sign that KNOWS what their sign is but say they don't believe in astrology. Also a lot Aquarius too. I don't think I can agree with the person who said Virgo and Cancer risings, only because those the signs most likely to be INTO occult sciences. Also Scorpio's I can't agree a lot of them are into mystery and mysterious things. People with a strong religious factor in their chart may try to "save" you from astrology.

I am knowledgeable in both Western Zodiac and Chinese astrology.

In your case, you should go with Western.

The Chinese astrology that can help you out on compatibility is called “Ba Zi”.

Unfortunately, vast majority of people who are NOT familiar with Chinese culture go only to the level of animal signs. This is not the way being done in the Chinese ethnic and Chinese culture communities. Animal signs are overly simplified and the accuracy is questionable (< <50%).

So again, I'd suggest you go with Western and have it done correct 100% the first time.

a horoscope is a birth chart
horoscopes are usually interpreted as the things you read in the newspaper. people say they’re full of BS but i read in a linda goodman book that actual astrologers write them but it only applies to a real specific set of people as opposed to the mass public (i.e. a taurus rising with taurus moon and sun or something) BUT i haven’t actually done any research or anything to back that up so who knows

astrology is interpreted from latin as literally the “science of stars” (note that astronomy means “law of stars”; sciences are continually altered while laws stay relatively the same). i don’t know about the western way to look at it, but in vedic astrology the planets are there to hold us to our karmas so we can ultimately attain enlightenment by ridding ourselves of selfish desires. our horoscope is simply a blueprint of our karmas and astrology manifests itself through studying, analyzing, understanding and interpreting our horoscope
